Gosling is too much of a pretty boy for the role he plays. The storyline is very lose and there are many disconnects. As for a young jewish man turning against his own people in such a radical way and talking in such a derisory fashion about the jewish people I found this to be implausible. Interestingly there a number of jewish persons credited behind the scenes and I'm surprised this film ever came to light. As a gentile I'm fascinated with Judaism and the intricacies of both the religion and the way of life of the jewry but found th insidious behaviour of Danny rediculous. Gosling's character was a shvant. I realise this film is loosely based on a jewish member of the KKK back in the 60's or 70's but as a spectacle I found it rather poor in content and delivery.
