this is a beautiful film. made in the early 1970's it comments on the british class system and whether or not fox hunting is morally permissable. told as a lovely story of the friendship between a fox cub and a hound puppy and the inherent problems that this throws up. it doesnt come down hard either way and although it was made over thirty years ago it still seems relevent today as the basic theme of 'opposite side of the tracks' relationships is timeless. although probably made for children i didnt think it was suitable for my 4 year old.
