Great movie with ...By Hew#1 from BRISTOL , 15 Mar 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]Great movie with something for everybody to connect with. It has laughter and tears but ultimately is a great story with characters that we can all connect with. The build up to the wedding is great as the 2 lead charactersfriendship is tested. Great sound track and is a movie you can watch again and again, cause you take something different away each time.

A long drawn-out embarrasmentBy BigMeUp (283 reviews) from Midlands, UK , 22 Jun 2010I find this film toe-curlingly embarrassing. This is partly due to the lead character's ineptitude in keeping his indiscretions concealed and partly due to the actors' almost-uniformly bad acting.
The story itself is not notable; whilst it may have made a good play (doubtful) it certainly doesn't make a good film.
I wish I hadn't rented this DVD.
Was lacking somethingBy karatedragon (90 reviews) from Romford , 08 Jun 2010This film is filled with a amazingly attractive cast but the story just seemed to lack something. The concept was good but I felt that the film gave over the impression that it would be more comical and it wasn't. It just lacked.
UnusualBy a customer from London , 30 Sep 2009This is an unusual movie. The plot is original.
I would recommend everyone to focuss on the names of the characters in the movie and the names of the characters of the book one of the main character of the movie wrote. It can get pretty confusing sometimes but it is an enjoyable story.
There are times when you think you can guess what is going to happen but the outcomes of situations are not always predictable which is something I enjoy in a movie.
There are also some good scenes which show the difference between men and women perceptions of relationship.
I would recommend you watch it!
