    good romantic comedy

I hadnt heard of this movie before, so perhaps it went straight on dvd, but I found it to be an above average feel good film. It's not your typical rom-com, the acting is pretty good and there are quite a few hilarious moments. I enjoyed watching this. There's bound to be other reviews focusing on how simple the plot is at times, but that's what makes it all the more enjoyable.

    A sweet and simple film

This is a romantic comedy that really delivers. It's a British romantic comedy which makes it a little bit more quirky, original and interesting than the average, with very good and believable script and performances from all the main leads. Not hugely challenging viewing, but that's entertainment.

    Seth Green excels!

Not being a great fan of any of the leads, I didn't expect to love this film. I did. It was a smart, witty rom-com that had something special when compared to your typical British romance movie. It made a change to have intelligent acting in a rom-com, and it made all the difference!! Seth Green played his British part brilliantly, and had great chemistry with Stuart Townsend. Rent this movie if you want a change from the typical American comedy, immature jokes and blonde bimbo playing lead! You're still guaranteed a laugh.

    Boring

The movie starts of quite slow with a lot of cringeworthy moments.

I usually like to finish a movie through to the end but in this case I couldn't manage to get there without distraction and ended up picking up a book.

I couldn't in good conscience recommend this to anyone I know..

    by the numbers rubbish.

Switched off after 45 minutes. Transparent plot. Utterly by the numbers trite. All boxes ticked. Group of contrived quirky friends (Notting Hill) Falling in love with best mate's bride (Love Actually) Everyone lives in trendy London even though they've allegedly got crap jobs. Poor rip off of everything Richard Curtis has ever done. Steer clear.

Ps. I usually love this kind of easy viewing.

Makes you realise how good Richard Curtis is at this kind of thing. Do yourself a favour and watch any of his films again rather than struggle through this.

    What a waste of time!!

I wish I'd listened to the customer from Chesterfield, good on them for enduring 45 minutes as I didn't last quite that long!

The film had a very feeble storyline. It was really disappointing viewing, and I too, normally enjoy anything along these lines.

    Tripe

I added this to my list because I like to switch my brain off on occasion and watch something that I don't have to concentrate too hard on, but this was just utter rubbish. I have seen a lot of rom coms and this has to be the worst by far. Ridiculously stupid storyline, cringe worthy humour from the start, very mediocre acting, all in all a waste of time. I watched the last half hour in fast forward because I couldn't take anymore. Very disappointing.

    Average been done before

Well the title say's it all doesn't it.

    Another four wedding's rip off.

If you liked four weddings and a funeral you will love this (the wife did).

I don't really need to say anything about this film as you already know how it starts and how it will end, the same as every other film of this type.

I gave it 3 stars as there are some laughs along the way and the acting wasn't that bad.
