The bible brought to life !!!!
By a customer from Leeds , 19 Aug 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
This was a very accurate portrayal of Esther and her role in saving her people. The acting was very good and it brought to life a very important part of Bible history, remaining faithful to the biblical account yet also being entertaining too. I look forward to watching more in the series.- Was this review helpful to you?

By Hancon (4 reviews) from Birmingham , 06 Feb 2010I loved this retelling of Esther one of the most pioneering woman of biblical times, very accurate and sensitive to the biblical references I was very impressed it really bought the story alive for my two younger children!- Was this review helpful to you?

good film
By a customer from London, England , 16 Sep 2009I like the make of that film. It has a lot of later inpretation in it especially of a book I once borrowed which explained that the names used where Babylonian God's names.- Was this review helpful to you?

Good introduction to the Bible
By a customer from Bury , 05 Apr 2009I enjoyed, even though I did know the story. More for the females in the family, as I liked the love story to it. Hubby took off after 10 minutes and mumbled some comment, but there you go not to everyone's taste.
Great for all the family and a good way for 'newies'/youngsters to get curious about other bible stories.
I enjoyed and liked. Would get another in a similar vein.- Was this review helpful to you?

Sunday school film
By a customer from Huntly,Scotland , 20 Jan 2009this was an ok film for a wet Sunday afternoon/morning. It did stick to the text well but the music was rather annoying and the twee sacharine-ness rather cloying.- Was this review helpful to you?
