The Bigs 2: Baseball

Loved this game so much! Always liked arcade sports games but this one makes the others look terrible! Would even consider renting it again and again!

I have been playing this game for around a year and suggested my friend come over and play it...the sound of baseball to his ears was a real turn-off. However, I told him the basic press 'A' or 'B' to hit and quickly caught on. Initially this seemed a little dull but when you get good at timing to hit especially those 60 mph change-ups it can get really competitive and enjoyable, so much you will definitely want to play again. Very addictive, especially with a friend to play.

I read all the reviews praising this game and after I played it I was a little disappointed. My expectations were very high and this game, though it is good, failed to live upto them. I did enjoy the game and have actually purchased it for £9.99 but I wouldnt pay much more then this for it. Yes its different as I dont own or have ever played another baseball game (and this is probably why I purchased it as something different) and yes its interesting to play but I found it very hard to get ahold of the little mini games that get triggerd when trying to make some catches in the match. I didnt really know what I was doing and kept dropping catches because I kept failing these little mini games. I did enjoy the pinball game option and this was quite easy to get ahold of the buttons etc. The terminology is a little hard to understand if you dont watch the sport (which I dont really but this doesnt really affect the gameplay). All in all I would say this game is good but not great (maybe my opinion will change as I get a hang of it) and it is definatly worth renting. Like I said I have actually purchased it and am just waiting for it to be delivered maybe it will be easier to play once I have the manual and practice more.

this is a very good game , good graphics good storyline and game play well worth renting really enjoyed it.

This has got to be the single worst game I have played and having a gamerscore of over 90k, I have played a few. To start of with the tutorial is not really a tutorial, its a hammering and the controls are all wrong. Maybe if there was an instruction booklet it may help. If your looking for achievements, I would steer well clear of this heap of s**t. I have sent it back today after receiveing it not an hour ago.
