Fantastic
By Macdonald2 from Bedfordshire , 24 Sep 2006[Highly rated reviewer]
It is brilliant to watch these and look back at how things once were- things have changed so much in 'The Bill'- and yet it is still such an amazing programme now.
Well worth a watch.- Was this review helpful to you?

All our yesterday's
By david gallagher from Wigan - home of the Super League Warriors , 17 Jun 2006This series is pretty much as I remembered it. A bit slow by today's standards but of it's time. Solid cop show, and the comedy value from Ted Roche is immense.- Was this review helpful to you?

By crew4goatpac from North Yorkshire , 31 Oct 2005I remember this starting back in 1983 and I've never missed an episode. Still the best show on televison and after 20 odd years it was nice to see how it started.- Was this review helpful to you?

well worth a watch
By a customer from Scotland , 27 Oct 2005I wasn't too sure what to expect from this - I'd watched the original series way back when and remember the stories being pretty good, but would they stand the test of time?
Recently there was the live episode to celebrate the 50th anniversary of ITV and I read critques of it where the camera work and shadows of microphones were slagged off, and I'm pleased to announce that this *style* is included in these old episodes too!
Thing is though, the sometimes dodgy cameras and studio sets really don't detract from the well written stories at all and the errors soon fade right back into the background where they belong. Well worth a watch for any fan.- Was this review helpful to you?
