    Movie classic Blues Brothers is to be turned into a new TV show. The widow of original star John Belushi has teamed up with Saturday Night Live writer Anne Beatts to write a script for a small screen adventure, which will star Kieron Lafferty and Wayne Catania as Jake and Elwood Blues. Lafferty and Catania currently play the musical pair in the touring Blues Brother Review, taking on the roles played by Belushi and Dan Aykroyd in the original movie.     Aykroyd: 'Murray won't be a part of Ghostbusters sequel'

    Actor Dan Aykroyd has given up all hope of trying to persuade Bill Murray to reprise his Ghostbusters character for a third movie, insisting the film will have to be made without the funnyman. Aykroyd, co-star Harold Ramis and director Ivan Reitman have been waiting for Murray to sign on for the sequel for over a year, but the frustrated Blues Brothers star now accepts the project will have to go ahead without him.
