There is no ultimatum in The Bourne Ultimatum. Nevertheless, this may be the ultimate Bourne. It certainly feels like the end of the road, even if Universal will be desperate to persuade Matt Damon otherwise. Spy thriller The Bourne Ultimatum, which stars Matt Damon, Julia Styles and Albert Finney, scooped the top prize at last night's Sony Ericsson Empire Awards 2008, the movie magazine has confirmed. Top awards, which are voted for by the magazine's readers, also went to Atonement's Keira Knightley and James McAvoy, who took home the gongs for Best Actress and Best Actor. Cruise and Washington sign up for new spy thriller

Hollywood superstars Tom Cruise and Denzel Washington are joining forces to star in a new thriller - written by the brains behind the Bourne trilogy.
