The BEST movie realesed this summerBy a customer from Cardiff, Wales , 17 Aug 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]If you loved the last two, your gonna love this one. This is an intelligent, soild action movie with characters and a story which is genuinely captavating. This has the best fight scenes out of the three movies, but the car chase isn't as good as the last one. However, this is the best film in the series and the supporting cast are top class, its nice to see a film which has proper actors, with a visionary director who doesn't need to rely on CGI to tell the story. By far the best film of the summer, if not the year.

Cracking Thriller...Just Bored of the Whole Superhuman ThingBy JayLow (122 reviews) , 09 Dec 2011Another cracking installement of the Bourne saga - not quite as good as the first two, but really very watchable all the same. High pace, high tension and high tech - what's not to like?
Well, what's not to like is the whole superhuman thing. See, we're sold Bourne over Bond because it's more realistic. But it's not. Jason Bourne is no more capable of existing than Roger Moore's Bond - or any Marvel charcter come to that. Bourne is so clever, so strong, so fast, so resourceful, that after a while you cease to fear for him - you cease to care. Also, how much more interesting would the story be, if the protagonist did make mistakes, did get his backside kicked, did get scared...
Ah well. It's a great thriller none the less. 3D characters will have to wait.
A sequel too farBy RodgerTheDodger (31 reviews) , 04 Dec 2011Chase, fight, chase, fight ... enough already !!!. This film totally lacks the ingredients that made the first Bourne so successful. His emotionally damaged, incomplete almost fish eyed violence machine character against her very feminine almost ditsy presentation, the contrast and interplay between them, heightened by effective action scenes. This is all action, with mostly hand held camera to make it more 'exciting' (yes, it's that clumsy), and nothing else. The denouement makes a slight improvement, but it's not enough to carry the first 90 minutes. If this had been Bourne I, there never would have been a Bourne II.

Rare momentsBy a customer , 29 Oct 2011This is one of those few films where there is a close correlation to the book. Several plot devices have been used and some changes to the book's narrative have been made, but these do not spoil the tension and twists and turns. Good performances from the cast, well shot and executed (no pun intended).
