    What a film! Who would have thought that a toaster, radio, vacuum cleaner, blanket and lamp (hope I didn't forget anyone!) could create such emotion within a viewer. Everyone was hooked from beginning to end. Weird idea - perfect film!

    After having been badgered by the boyfriend, to rent this, I thought what the heck, I will please the chap and get it...

    I never seen it as a youngster, and thankfully my childhood wasnt deprived, I hadnt missed much!

    The main characters are household objects, seeming to be the most pointless ones you could find around the house. I.E. an electric blanket, who I believed should have been the star of the film, instead the toaster stole the leading title.

    As an older viewer, perhaps I was misinterpreting some speech, however hearing an air conditioning unit say to the hoover 'what are you going to do suck me' I felt somewhat sick in the mouth. There were an array of innuendos such as that, which I must admit were amusing but scary.

    The imagery used was slightly terrifying, particularly seeing things such as the toaster dangling above a bath, and an evil clown!

    The characters lacked depth, and after the death of the air conditioner, there was no mourning what so ever, infact I'm sure a song and dance was made of it.

    MUSIC = PAINFUL.

    Thankfully the cd had a scratch towards the end, and skipped a few minutes, and before I knew it, it was finished. The boyfriend apologised, as the realisation was that a film he so much loved as a child, would never be the same in his memory again.

    DON'T DO IT TO YOURSELVES.

    We loved this film even though were both over 25! The blanky is sooo cute though, however it's very funny when he cries and its got loads of funny little bits all the way through. Great if you have kids, Great if you havent.
