epitomises my 80s childhood

This was one of my favourite films as a child and revisiting it as an adult I was overwhelmed by how good it was. Characters are stereotypes we're all familiar with with a comic edge, the actors are superb. Everything about this film is s well thought out, only other film I've ever thought that about is Shaun of the Dead which similarly makes the most out of every scene.

Tom Hanks + a Corey shaken up with horror and comedy, thow in a bit of Carrie Fisher and you've got 80s movie GOLD.

If you like The Goonies, Lost Boys, Ghostbusters, Dragnet, Spies like us and similar 80s fun then you'll enjoy this.

If you're not that sure about the 80s but enjoyed Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz or Zombieland then you should try this - you might like it.
