The Burgess Meredith Collection

This collection celebrates the ever-versatile career of Burgess Meredith. Famous for his role in ROCKY and as The Penguin in the BATMAN television series, Meredith was also a very capable director, as demonstrated in THE MAN ON THE EIFFEL TOWER. The psychologically powerful drama follows the efforts of a brilliant police inspector as he breaks down the will of a man he suspects of murder. This collection also includes WINTERSET, a crime drama that centres on Meredith's struggle to clear the name of his father who was executed for a crime he didn't commit. And SECOND CHORUS, the snappy musical comedy that teamed Meredith with Fred Astaire as two aspiring musicians trying to win a spot in Artie Shaw's swinging orchestra.
