  • Really, Marc Grondin is the only good thing in this film

    [Highly rated reviewer]

If Marc Andre Grondin had not been in this film, I doubt I would have enjoyed it. Grondin is a versatile actor who played yet another interesting character, his unpredictable acting style allowed this film to be exciting.

Ellen Barkin was also very good. Kimberly, the sulky mother who puffed her way through cigarettes was as fragile as she was hostile.

Something felt a bit fake about the film, maybe because it was based on a true story?? or maybe the female detective was just not believeable. I wouldnt watch it again

watch The Imposter ..fredrick bourdin himself exspains his own accounts of what happened .as do the family of the missing boy. Alot of things that happened in the movie werent right ..like the missing boy had blond hair blue eyes yet in the film the boy has brown hair brown eyes.

  • Nothing of Interest

'The Chameleon' is based on a true story. While the film is interesting, it's why would someone pretend to be so many different people that would have made the film more entertaining. The psychology behind his plans. BUT, unfortunately it only tells the story and not the 'why he did it'. The film is just over an hour and a half, any longer and the film would have scored less stars. It is more of a film based on documentary rather than a thriller; it doesn't possess any depths to it. The viewer is able to multi-task while watching this, and still understand what is going on. Nothing of interest.

  • Too true to be good

A good story, but well, something is clearly missing there.

The spectator isn't captivated, the beginning slightly confusing and the development without thrills.

Watch 'The Imposter' instead. A clever and captivating documentary of the story of Frederic Bourdin.

    I have seen much worse.

Though the story is true, it still left me with a view that they could have made this a lot better. Very slow from the word off and stays at that speed until the end credits role.

A shame because I was looking forward to watching. one thing did come to mind all the way through the movie. SURELY NOT !
