Dont bother rushing this on to your reserve list!By Nicky O from Glasgow , 07 Dec 2008
[Highly rated reviewer]...because you'll be disappointed way next year when it arrives!
As if the storyline wasnt bad enough, the acting and special effects made it hard to sit through. Each time someone dies they walk about, act and talk as if its something that happens every day! (the adults that is). Theres not a single scary moment but loads of tense build ups to what you would expect to be scary... then you get a cut to something random like a vase or a bush! (Sorry if this is a spoiler)
The plot was so obvious from the beginning and is so predictable you kind of sit waiting to see if you were right, telling the screen to hurry up!
Infected children killing their parents, all bad actors, acting like its just a normal day in the woods!... they only phone an ambulance/police once near the beginning, maybe they should have called again to check it was coming say after another two people had been killed.
Overall 2 out of 5 as Im in a good mood BUT be sure to turn up half an hour late (or fast forward the DVD) as youll cringe or fall asleep during the first 30 minutes.

2 starsBy lauren4253 (3 reviews) , 08 Apr 2013it was good until the end, the end was disappointing and I don't understand why they got the illness or where the illness came from
baddest horror movie in the worldBy a customer , 06 Apr 2013
THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS Show review anywayHideworst horror movie in the UK the children makes me think of children of the corn not that meany actors in it i was hoping there would be more the acting is very pure and the way it was movie was disgusting shocking some of the scenes were bad enough i would not rate this movie its bad that's that.
A decent movieBy Horrornut (19 reviews) , 06 Apr 2013I found this to be very different from what I was expecting ,in a good way. The director played on the confusion, terror and suspicion rather well I thought and I enjoyed it. The acting was good and the setting really worked with the story line. The gore fitting in well and didn't dominate. You were never fed too much of what was making things happen, which added to the suspense. The ending fitted in very well with the movie; a good job overall.

A good creepy children horrorBy Sausage42 (46 reviews) , 03 Apr 2013This film has had some poor reviews on here and elsewhere but I really enjoyed it. For full disclosure I really enjoy horror films and often enjoy the 'bad' ones rather than the 'good'. However, I don't think that this fits into either of these categories. This one uses the age-old gimmick of making the cute children the evil ones as they murder their way through their extended family. This actually works really well here and doesn't feel too much like a gimmick. The child actors outshine the adults most of the time and look like they are having a great time covered in blood and attacking the adults. One thing that bothered me is that there is no real conclusion or explanation of the events in the film. This is usually something that I really like in films but this feels like it has been a bit neglectful in leaving out some vital information that would have helped the viewers or could even have added a creepy twist towards the end.
Give it a tryBy a customer , 01 Apr 2013This is actually a good film, I wasnt expecting much because of the low raitings but i needed something to watch. I would say more gruesome then scary tho.
