    superb.................................

this dvd is superb. The film stars Bill Murray (from Groundhog Day and Ghostbusters) as Mayor Cole and Tim Robbins (from Cradle Will Rock and Dead Man Walking) as Loris Harrow, and is produced by the legendary actor Tom Hanks (from Forrest Gump, The Terminal and Philadelphia).

The story is about two children called Lina Mayfleet (played by Saoirse Ronan) and Doon Harrow (played by Harry Treadaway), who live in the City of Ember, an underground city built to house a human community for 200 years.

Having reached the end of its 200-year mission, Ember's power source begins to become problematic and the lamps start to flicker, because the generator that powers the city has broken and cannot be repaired.

Together, the children search for clues that will unlock ancient mysteries about the city and save the people of Ember before it's too late.

Will they succeed ?... watch the film to find out !!

Dull. Pointless. I don't even know why they bothered making it.

    • 13 Oct 2008

Bill Murray has suggested he may appear in the planned Ghostbusters sequel, but only if the script is good enough. Columbia Pictures recently revealed it has enlisted writers Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg to pen the script for a follow-up to the original 1980s movies. Murray has not ruled out blasting the ghouls alongside fellow ghostbusters Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis one more time, but said he is getting tired of being constantly asked about the sequel. "Every single interview has... Read more
