Wayne and Eileen Hayes live the American Dream. Together they've raised two children and struggled to build a successful business from the ground up. But there have been sacrifices along the way. When Wayne is kidnapped by an ordinary man, Arnold Mack, and held for ransom in a remote forest, the couple's world is turned inside out. Eileen finds her home full of FBI Agents, their life under scrutiny. While Wayne is engaged in the negotiation of his lifetime, Eileen works frantically with the FBI to secure his release. The terrifying ordeal causes Wayne and Eileen to reassess their marriage and come to a deeper sense of their commitment to each other. With each passing hour, the need and desire for Wayne to return home safely becomes ever more urgent.

Worth a shot!

Although this became a very confusing at some points but be assured it all comes together at the end. Robert Redford played a great part and so did Helen Mirren.

If your after sitting and really watching a movie this is the one but remember to pay attention.

One More Good Film for Robert Redford

Great cast. Yes, kidnappings have been done before and recently kind of badly. This is not one of the bad ones. Slow moving, no fathers pursuing the bad guys and lots of effects. Nope, good script and good cast.

Really good film, slow paced but has an interesting story. If you're looking for action and high drama look elsewhere but if you are looking for emotional and intense watch this. Overall a good watch

Their harmony is suddenly disrupted, however, when Wayne is kidnapped and held for ransom in a remote forest. While Wayne negotiates for his life, Eileen must work with the FBI to secure his release, but as time passes, the couple are forced to reassess their marriage and lives. Can the American Dream survive?

Absolutely boring! Kept waiting for the story to begin - it never did! Helen Mirren was a waste of time walking around totally expressionless all the time. Very Poor film for top actors to be involved in. Dont waste your time renting htis!
