A waste of talentBy Not so Silent Bob from Edinburgh , 12 Oct 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]This was very much a let down. Why on earth would two of todays most watchable actors agree to be in this? they are completely let down by a plot that is so weak it just doesn't hold up. We have every cliche in the business, so much so that it actually would have worked better as a parody. I hate giving low rating to a film with Cusack in, he is so much better than this, Freeman is miscast, and his little crew are about as fearful as the Stooges.

Utter rubbishBy AngieIan (13 reviews) , 20 Nov 2012This has to be one of the worst films I've watched in recent years. Silly plot, terrible acting and the 'action scenes' were bordering on the realms of fantasy.
Morgan Freeman must have had a good payday; I can't think of another reason why he agreed to go along with this charade.
If you like cliches at every turn you'll love this. I didn't.
Entertaining enoughBy yodaunleashed (5 reviews) from North West , 13 Aug 2012I wasn't expecting anything great from this film going in and I wasn't disappointed in that regard. Despite the two great solid performances by two great solid actors and a decent supporting cast not much stands out in this film; the characters, the plot, the writing, the cinematography, hell, the only thing that arguably does is the scenery but as mentioned its not exactly shot in any particuarly noteworthy way. No, I suppose this film is average, just above in my own estimations because I enjoyed the ride. It was fun and entertaining to watch, not very memorable or ambitious but it passed an evening well enough.
Pretty goodBy a customer , 12 Aug 2012Read the reviews and was not expecting much of the film. In fact I enjoyed it more than I thought I would-even sending the faulty disc back and asking for a replacement to see how the film ended!
The ContractBy Ricia (156 reviews) , 04 Mar 2012This was a very good film. Morgan Freeman as always was at his very best. It was interesting to have a different take on contract assasins. Definately enteretaining!
Awful, awful film - don't waste your time watching itBy Maenie (1 review) , 22 Jan 2012Awful, awful film. I was expecting more from a film starring actors such as Morgan Freeman. The sound and dubbing was poorly done, the plot was weak and the standard of acting was poor to say the least. I didn't connect with or care about any of the characters. Some of the lines were completely out of place and didn't make sense to me. I watched the film the whole way through, expecting things to improve. They didn't. The ending was weak.
If the sound and effects were anything to go by, this film had a low budget. I still expected more from the calibre of the and director.
