Actress Jennifer Ellison is "delighted" after giving birth to her first son. The Cottage star and her boxer husband Rob Tickle welcomed baby Bobby, the couple's first child, on Thursday (04Feb10). The new arrival weighed in at nine pounds (four kilograms). A statement from Ellison's publicist reads, "Jennifer Ellison and her husband, Robert Tickle, are delighted to announce the birth of their first child, Bobby." Ellison married Tickle in a secret ceremony in Mauritius last October (09). Read more

Prehistoric mammoth-masher 10,000 BC has trampled the opposition to take the number one spot at the UK box office, new figures from Nielsen show.
