Powerful historical drama of the power of superstition when allied to the processes of an inquisition, though it has lost some of its contemporary relevance along the way.

      Wonderful

A wonderful re-enactment of Arthur Millers Classic Play.

Highlights the witch hunts of Salem and the McCarthy era in the 1950s very well.

However, by the last third it picks ... read more »

This film is very tense throughout and its hard to move from your seat, whether there's a cuppa waiting or not! I love it

      Took a while

It took a while to get into this - the action at the beginning was so fast, so manic and the accents so strong that I wasn't sure what was going on. Once ... read more »
