An excellent portrayal of the Salem witch trials. Daniel Day Lewis happens to be one of my most favoured actors; and he certainly does not disappoint as John Proctor. His moving speech at the confession signing brought me to tears and positively overwhelmed me, to such lengths as did Mel Gibson in Braveheart. Brilliant!
