Get beyond the hype, sit back and enjoy a good story, a few scares and some good twists.
There isn't a dull moment. My only negative would be that the book makes the lead characters a bit more personable - Hanks is a bit too plastic and the chemistry between him and Tautou is non existent.
Is it a good movie? Yes!
I saw this a couple of days ago, thought it was a really good story, but (as expected) it cuts out large chunks from the start of the book, which were really interesting to read! But well worth watching, even if you dont like what you've heard about it, just keep an open mind going into it!
