Very limited indeedBy a customer from London , 30 Dec 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]I watched this film without ever having heard of it at all and was drawn in by the creds of its director, plus the Wilson brother combo, whose eccentricity I normally find mildly entertaining.
This film, on the other hand, drags on, and on, and on. In fact, it's as slow as the train depicted in the impoverished storyline. Sadly, the whimsical attempts at creating an arthouse film are not enough to hold it all together either.
This film is dull and tries far too hard to be clever in an understated manner. It's just plain boring, and also happens to make India and its people look like a bunch of backward idiots.

BORINGBy a customer from Reading , 16 Nov 2008Seriously, is this supposed to be a comedy!!! I was so bored, and kept waiting for the funny bit to kick in. I think I laughed once in the whole film.
There is also a really tragic incident in the film which left me wondering even more, how this file considered itself to be a comedy!
LimitedBy a customer from Aylesbury , 16 Nov 2008I can't believe I paid to watch this! It was torture. A trip on a commuter train is more entertaining.
I couldn't bring myself to persevere and see if it got interesting and so I left the train before they did!
The Darjeeling LimitedBy a customer from Channel Islands , 15 Nov 2008A beautifully shot movie which is a must-see for all Wes Anderson fans. The soundtrack is also fantastic.
surprisingly goodBy a customer from manchester , 14 Nov 2008I was expecting this to be a hilarious comedy from what i had been told and from watching the trailer and although it is amusing in parts, it is more of a heart warming story really. Having said this, i still really enjoyed and I found the characters really grew on me in the end. I would recommend this as a good watch, however if you are expecting a side splitting comedy you may be disappointed.
The Darjeeling LimitedBy a customer from Beith , 14 Nov 2008Not really my type of thing - falls into the quirky category but for me was bit tiresome.
