Brooding and brilliant....

Revision to my previous negative comment, which was due entirely to the delay in the movie being available even after the 'available to rent' date.
Having seen the film at long last, I think it's a terrific piece of work and a worthy ending to Nolan's trilogy. Dark and brooding, despite the long running time, there was plenty to hold the attention. Unlike sequels that have gone before from lesser directors, the law of diminishing returns certainly does not apply to this particular franchise. This is epic film making...

In the for the long haul.
By a customer , 25 Apr 2013This film tried too hard to be grown-up. Too long, too bleak, too serious. None of the dark humour of the graphic novels or even the previous Dark Knight films. Anne Hathaway did not convince as Catwoman. Michael Caine still cannot act.- Was this review helpful to you?

Breath-taking Cinematic Masterpiece

Chris Nolan is a genius and knows about really good story telling. This movie has it all - action, drama, script, visual flair and above all else, originality.
