Trailer looks awesome, and critics say film good, cant wait
I really enjoyed this film. Its an intelligent film but with big explosions and loads of action - and the odd laugh - something for everyone!
I think one of the main reasons why it works so well is that there is no attempt made to explain the joker - his reasoning or how he became what he is. Too often in modern movies the villain is explained and analysed losing any sense of danger. With no back story Heath Ledger's Joker remains an unstopable force with no obvious sense of reason, making him even more of a threat. Its not the unbelievable performance that some people might want it to be but it is certainly a fine legacy for the actor, and I must admit you do miss him when he disappears off the screen for a while. If they had managed to trim a little of the running time this might have been near perfect. As it is its alittle long but well worth your time. Bring on the sequel that is sure to follow!
