The Joker Outshines

After the failed Joel Schumacher series of batman, hope was lost for a good Batman film. However then came Christopher Nolan and his reboot of the franchise with Batman Begins, which was amazing. Then he brings out The Dark Knight which is probably the best superhero movie ever made (and also the first Batman movie to not have Batman in its title)... so far (Watch out for The Dark Knight Rises this year!).

Batman was not the shining star of this movie for once. Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker was intoxicating and absolutely amazing. He really got into the mind-set of the character and he actually sold the character which most actors cannot do. He outshines Christian Bale's performance and truly this film is about him. His character is so twisted that it is actually quite beautiful.

This film is a must watch movie. It will blow your mind. The CGI was great no fault that I could notice with it. The ending was a cliffhanger which is great as the next Batman film is wanted more. It will seriously leave you asking questions.
