(9)world ended
By a customer from colchester , 06 Mar 2011no great special effects even by the standards of the 50's and 60's but there dosnt have to be. a good enough story line so that there should of been a day the world ended 2. you will have to see the end of the film to see what i mean- Was this review helpful to you?

b movie
By a customer from London, England , 08 Mar 2007Amongst the doom there is plenty of resolve and some attractive views of women as well as visuals that maybe looked even worse ten years later in colour on Star Trek. Not bad for its day as a trash cult sort of film.- Was this review helpful to you?

Typical Roger Corman effort
By a customer from Birmingham, UK , 26 Apr 2006If you are nostalgic for budget '50s cheap schlock-horror movies you will like this, as it has all the elements of the drive-in flic: a small cast with indifferent acting skills, a rubber monster and a short running time. Actually this is good fun, and better than some of the other Corman films of the same period.- Was this review helpful to you?

Classic 1956 film with all the trimmings
By Oli from Buckinghamshire, England , 15 Dec 2005This is a classic movie, topped with an ultimately bad mutant at the end looking like a paper Mache monster I did at school. Worth a watch on weekday evening as it explores some interesting points (sort of). Not worth using up a Friday or Saturday night though. If you picked this title, you cant complain as what do you expect from a 1956 film called 'The Day The World Ended'.
I liked it. Made me smile.- Was this review helpful to you?
