Don't bother with disc 2By a customer from Portsmouth , 27 Jul 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]5 stars for the first disc, but don't bother with the second 'extras' disc. Contains about 2 minutes of footage not on the first disc

pioneering geniusBy diggerbanks (3 reviews) from London , 07 Jun 2009Chris Morris is a genius. He should be knighted for services to comedy. First appearances of Alan Partridge too, a landmark series.
okayBy a customer from London , 17 Apr 2009Topical comedy doesn't age well, and this is no exception. The graphics are still funny though. To be honest couldn't sit through whole DVD.
Top bananaBy Rockinpaddy (38 reviews) from London , 06 Feb 2009Simply brilliant, but don't watch with someone from Honduras, like I did,as you'll spend a lot of time explaining....I didn't mind Dave honest......great stuff.
Made in 1994--still spot-on!By a customer from Surrey, UK , 28 Dec 2008Very clever satire of mindless TV news. What's particularly remakable is that it was made all that time ago,but reflects the current situation all too well. Might have been amazing foresight. Or rubbish news programmes were already around to satirise then, and not such a recent thing at all!
You dont need to watch the whole thing to get the point of the various strands in each programme. I watched it all over a couple of days, which wouldnt have been how it was shown. Did get a bit strident.
ExcellentBy arwsto (50 reviews) from Manchester , 23 Sep 2008This is satire if the highest order. Chris Morris could be Paxman. (Or maybe Paxman based himself on Morris?) We have the embryonic Alan Partridge. What I loved the most was 'The pool' mockumnentry. 'In 1979 no one died...' Classic.
