The Day Will Dawn

This exciting British wartime film celebrates the heroism of the Norwegian resistance movement in fighting Nazi invaders. With a distinguished cast and a script by TERENCE RATTIGAN, "The Day Will Dawn" is the story of a British foreign correspondent sent to report on U-boat attacks against Norwegian shipping. When he reports his suspicions to the local police chief, he is unaware of the chief's secret Nazi sympathies and is betrayed into the hands of German agents. As the Nazis invade Norway, the journalist becomes increasingly involved in the fledgling resistance movement as they plan a daring attack on a vital U-boat base.
