The Derby Stallion

The Derby Stallion is a great film for kids. It's a straightforward storyline that makes you think positively about your dreams, being courageous in chasing them and staring bullies in the face. It's about being the best that you can be. The Derby Stallion is a touching story and the performances are relatively strong. It's a great film to see and well worth the rental but don't expect anything too demanded.

Dont bother

If this is the alternative to High School Musical as a career move Ephron should stick with musicals. The storyline is laboured and sacharine sweet and the acting stilted and poor. Don't bother, since you don't even get to really see the horse much and he is by far the best performer.

Derby Stallion

Disappointing all round - very slow, very old fashioned - rent if only if you love Zac Effron - otherwise don't bother! Life's too short!

i didn like this film i found it very boreing even though it was for kids,my son even fell asleep watching this.

Give it a try

This is a warm feeling movie with a nice story line its very good for zac's earlier work it has happy and sad moments and is great to watch with the family. Watch it you hopefully wont be disapointed.

Horsey Stuff

I only got this one to see Zac Efron in something other than High School Musical. This story was very pleasant but nothing special. If you like Zac and you like horses then this one is for you.

Dear God in Govan

It's obvious why this got dragged up with the current appeal of the male lead.

Young girls will like it.

Awful editing and poor continuity.

I may possibly disown my daughter if she tries to make me sit through this dross again.

The score is based upon a family review. My daughters high mark compensating for my more than reasonable 1 out of 10.

Whoever is responsible for this film should be publicly hung.
