Sasha Baron Cohen is back and he's more shocking than ever before. Ladies and gentlemen, meet The Dictator.

This is best got rid of!
By a customer , 27 Sep 2012[Highly rated reviewer]
Sadly Cohen is unaware of the law of diminishing returns. What was once fresh and funny...is now not. Its Borat with a beard and without the humour or shock value. And he has fallen into the fish out of water rom com nonsense that other movies did eons ago. This is just tired, sad and passé. Not worth the effort for the very rare almost funny moment.- Was this review helpful to you?

(202)Not worth it
By Ropay (2 reviews) , 19 May 2013As I write this review (a few weeks after watching the movie) I can't actually remember anything that was particularly funny. That's a bad thing right? Bad accents, cringeworthy humour (yes, even more than before) & a muddled moral message at the end, makes this possibly one of the last SBC movies I might watch. Then again I'm not sure whether it was trying to be more serious than the other movies...I which case, that didn't really work either.- Was this review helpful to you?

Don't let Bruno make you not wanna watch this
By ROYALEwiCHEESE (2 reviews) from norwich , 19 May 2013Sacha's back. Well almost back. After the huge failure that was Bruno, SBC seems to have climbed back on the controversy cycle again and this time is riding without stabilisers. It's no Borat but was surprisingly good. With ethics nearing those of Blazing Saddles this was a winner for me- Was this review helpful to you?

Worth a viewing
By a customer , 14 May 2013I wasn't expecting to like this film - Sacha's other work makes me squirm - but here is a really funny and clever film - you really have to listen to every word that is spoken. I thoroughly enjoyed it - clever story line and well presented- Was this review helpful to you?

Dismal, pathetic, asinine, dreadful
By theorganicdomino (25 reviews) , 14 May 2013[Highly rated reviewer]
Pitiful. Poorly conceived garbage milking bad taste (not that there's anything wrong with bad taste) without wit, style or any conception of what is actually funny. There is not one single funny moment in this entire heap of rectum spewed spatter. The maker's pants should fill with shame at having any involvement in such a tawdry exercise in talentlessness.- Was this review helpful to you?

Don't bother. Really.
By a customer , 03 May 2013I thought it would be edgy and walk the line between good and bad taste but it is far far worse than that. Bad taste and not very funny.- Was this review helpful to you?
