Diving Bell
By Bridgeplayer (1 review) , 14 Nov 2012I loved this film fascinating and so moving, not at all depressing despite the theme. Isn't the human mind incredible!- Was this review helpful to you?

The ultimate prison story - inspiring beyond words
By Robbierunciman (7 reviews) from Romney Marsh , 15 Jul 2012Do watch this!
This is a brilliant film that tells the story of what must be the ultimate horror, locked on syndrome.
I missed this in the cinema and must have ordered it out of curiosity. When this came weeks later, I thought, uh-oh, why did I order this!, I'll give it 10 mins.
It was not a miss step. I was gripped from the start and totally engrossed in Bauby's tragic story. The story is told from his perspective and tells how he fought to communicate and let people know he was still alive and that his brain and intellect were functioning inside his 'dead' body. The patient dedication and love of the people around him who helped him live with his condition is inspiring.- Was this review helpful to you?

Remarkable adaptation
By mj55 (96 reviews) , 17 Jun 2012This is quite hard to watch but it is illuminating - an unexpected journey into a hard-to-imagine condition. Ups and downs, tragedy and comedy. Uplifting and depressing.- Was this review helpful to you?

Tragic but beautifully put together
By a customer , 29 Apr 2012This is so profoundly sad, yet simultaneously inspirational. It's beautifully put together and awesome to eventually discover how it came into being.- Was this review helpful to you?
