Action packed and full of mind bending plots this isn't. So if that's what you want to watch don't bother.
If you want something deeper....
It's an uncomplicated, beautifully shot film around a complicated romance between two complicated people in the setting of a complicated war.
The film moves backwards and forwards in time and it takes a while to get your bearings and is enhaced by repeated viewings.
The pace of the film gives you time to understand the different characters and ultimately the depth of their emotions.
