Could you continue to live there ?

This is a brilliant film and well worth your time if your into the supernatural.

The film is all about a woman seperated from her husband who is struggling to bring up her kids as best she can. They have very little money.

One night she is raped in her own home by a violent assailant. Her kids are in the house and her screams bring her eldest son running to help. She tells him she has been raped and that the attacker is still in the house. He frantically searches for the attacker but can find no-one and no signs of a break in. The son thinks his mother has dreamed the attack but she is convinced the attack was real and has the bruises to prove it.

The attacks continue and the violent nature worsens. The family eventually flee into the night to a nearby motel but they just dont have the money to stay and have to return to the scene of the attacks.

Eventually the woman makes contact with a local university that has a department that studies paranormal activity.

What makes this an even better story is that its based on real events.

Try it, its well worth it.

Crying out for a Japanese remake

This film promised so much but delivered so little.

The main problems with this film are that it progresses at a breakneck pace without allowing any time for the tension to adequately build, and the attacks are completely ruined by the excessive 'music'.

This movie represents a great idea, but it needs to be remade preferably by the Japanese as the horror films coming out of Hollywood lately don't fill me with any confidence in their ability to carry it off!
