This is a brilliant film and well worth your time if your into the supernatural.

The film is all about a woman seperated from her husband who is struggling to bring up her kids as best she can. They have very little money.

One night she is raped in her own home by a violent assailant. Her kids are in the house and her screams bring her eldest son running to help. She tells him she has been raped and that the attacker is still in the house. He frantically searches for the attacker but can find no-one and no signs of a break in. The son thinks his mother has dreamed the attack but she is convinced the attack was real and has the bruises to prove it.

The attacks continue and the violent nature worsens. The family eventually flee into the night to a nearby motel but they just dont have the money to stay and have to return to the scene of the attacks.

Eventually the woman makes contact with a local university that has a department that studies paranormal activity.

What makes this an even better story is that its based on real events.

Try it, its well worth it.

ive read all about this story, as its based on a true story, and the film sticks to the true story very much.

very scary stuff, and very strange, the ending may seem weird but according to the original facts as written down at the time the ending did happen the way it did.

    defo worth seeing

Erm...pretty damn weird. Based on a true story..? Really..? Overall, quite dated but not too bad. Loses plot a bit at the end. Not sure would recommend - I wouldn't bother watching it again.

This film was so, so bad. It was quite scary at first, then about 40 minutes into it , it just went tits up. It was a joke of a film. Ghost rape ? Grim.
