A 16-track sampler of some of the company's jazz wares, it suffers from the problem that all samplers have in common: no continuity. Despite the all-star cast, some of the performances are a bit lacklustre. The fact that you return to the menu after each clip doesn't help either. This might be of interest to jazz novices, but buffs will find it, contrary to its title, inessential.
I totally agree with the previous reviewer. There were some good bits, but the visual quality was poor, and having to return to the menu after each clip deterred me from listening to the whole thing more than once.
