The first film was pretty good and had its creepy moments, I did not enjoy this film as much i felt it did not have the same creepy **** yourself moments of the first. Not a bad film and original idea's but not as good as the 1st- Was this review helpful to you?

(29)papa don't preach
By juradino (811 reviews) from London , 23 Jul 2011Young woman is left by her boyfriend and attempts suicide after which she finds she is pregnant. She begins to see ghost of another suicidal woman and then other ghosts who apparently invade other pregnant women. It is a tale of reincarnation that somehow explains childbirth as well as relationship breakdowns between men and women. Apart from ghosts it has little similarity with The Eye though.- Was this review helpful to you?

Not a scary horror but an excellent film
By Louisaking (40 reviews) from Cardiff , 28 Jan 2011If you've seen the Eye you might be expecting this to be a typical sequel. It's not, and a lot of the reviews appear to find this a negative? I'm confused by this, most sequels are not as good as the first film - this is a generally accepted fact of film especially horror. But The Eye 2 is like a whole new film. The basic principle of the storyline is in a way connected to the first film, but honestly if it were not called Eye '2' I probably wouldn't have noticed a connection. This film is very creepy, I would descibe it as a psychological horror so if you are expecting gore and blood this film is not for you. I would also imagine that men would not find the concept as terrifying as women, as pregnancy features heavily in the plot. All in all a brilliantly dark film - just dont watch it when pregnant.- Was this review helpful to you?

'why does my head hurt?'
By jesuskenevil (245 reviews) from Bruton , 19 Jun 2010Bodies drift in the air, waiting to claim reincarnation, the dead question from their crumpled 'resting' place, suicide and secrets abound. This non sequel is an odd affair, well shot, well acted but ultimately a disjointed affair that falls short of the fear levels it's trying to muster.- Was this review helpful to you?

The Eye 2
By marten (5 reviews) from Camden , 19 Feb 2010this is what the Japaneese do best horror with a moral attached to it. Perhaps i've seen too many oriental films now i'm getting a bit to use to them, but i do love them. Even thou this has nothing to do with the first film and they have used a known star it's all good. Tingly hairs on the arm, a small shock and a moral. I wonder when America will copy it.- Was this review helpful to you?
