Scream writer Kevin Williamson teams up with From Dusk till Dawn director Robert Rodriguez for this enjoyable reworking of alien invasion movies that's bolstered by Williamson's patented in-jokes and genre subversions. The Faculty is an incredbily derivative film, lifting entires plots and scenes from the likes of Invasion Of The Bodysnatchers and The Thing, but despite all this the movie works well as an entertaining little horror flick. No classic, but slickl directed, and the usual bunch of overly photogenic American teenagers who populate this kind of movie are a little more interesting than the usual bucnh of slahser fodder. Fun disposable trash.
I loved this film. Shame they don't make movies like this anymore. Jordana Brewster TURNS ME ON TO THE MAX!

The film-noir concept, based on the comic books of Frank Miller, is the first film to have been shot entirely on a digital backlot, with actors performing in front of a green screen, and the whole background being added post-production.
