Normally, when a film has nothing but bad reviews, I can manage to find something to enjoy about it. Having ignored the reviews on this film and renting it, I've decided to start paying more attention to what other people say.
This film, is, Terrible.
I was close to turning it off after 15-20 minutes, the script was only just present, the characters would have been better performed by our favourite Ents from The Lord of the Rings, the direction was appaling... But, one of the things that drew me to the film in the first place was the premice behind the story, an ancient race that lived pre-catastrophe, a race of intelligent beings, of giants! It's a great theory, and, despite the quality of the film, I really wanted to see how somebody else interpreted the whole thing.
Despite my interest in the subject hidden behind this monstrosity of a film, a still feel my life was wasted over the seven hours watching the film (it seemed like seven hours anyway.)
Please, anybody reading this, stand up with the rest of us against this film. It *MUST* be erased from history!
I read the reviews before renting this DVD and thought that it couldn't possibly be that bad. It's worse. Watch at your own peril.
