Based around the 90's film Blown Away with Lloyd Bridges and Tommy Lee Jones. Unfortunately this version fails drastically to live up to its predecessor. Not bad effects, but poor acting perfomances and bad script.

Not one of Sam Elliots better fims.

  • This is not the bomb!

Definitely not as good as Blown Away. Though Sam Elliott is usually worth watching, even he didn't seem comfortable in this story of a bomb-disposal team who are being out-witted by a 'serial bomber'. Elliott plays the part of an ex-bomb disposal officer who blames himself for his partner's death. He reluctantly agreed to help solve the problem of the serial bomber who is obviously too clever for the current bomb disposal team to tackle. Old storyline; acting is a bit wooden; predictable but it's not too bad in parts... maybe it just needed Tommy Lee Jones to add a bit of class to it.

A very slow film. The story was there but it wasn't carried as good as it could have been. The acting was wooden and forced.
