I saw this at the cinema when it first came out; I remembered it as good film, but viewing it all these years later, it seems even better. A fantastic script (shades of Woody Allen in places), moving story, so imaginative and yet special effects are not allowed to dominate - it stays on a human level. Some great performances (and I am not normally a Robin Williams fan, but this is his finest) and, of course, brilliantly directed by Terry Gilliam (so shades of Python also). Loved every minute.
