love story and even ghost did nt make me weep as much as this film, its the most depressing and at the same time the most uplifting film i ever seen.
I thourouhly enjoyed this film. Unfortunately it was sent to me before seeing the first one, which was dissapointing. I have seen the first one but many years ago, so would of been much happier watching that one first followed by this one. Well worth watching.
Not a patch on the first one (remake not original).
Gory scenes are not to be watched on an empty stomach !!
although the film is very slow to start it is pretty good. there is more character interaction than the first, although i think they went for more gore in this one, regradless of story. I'd still recommend it, it makes a good follow on from the original. I hear there is a new remake in the pipeline, cant wait to see what thats like
not as good as the first 1 but good enjoyable gory fun

Not entirely unworthy, 'The Fly II' does have a couple of good things going for it.
The acting isn't as bad as some horror sequels and the story does flow at a good pace. The main problem with 'The Fly II', is the fact that is is an unnecessary sequel to a classic horror film, and the lack of Cronenberg at the helm is all too apparent.
The film is also an obvious showcase for the animatronics creature in the finale, which is neither shocking, nor does it stand up to the 'creature' in its predecessor.
Not awful, but certainly not great either.

Im not going in depth i just really like this film and wanted to add my loved it to the numbers. It is a good follow up.
The remake sequel is OK. I can only say that as you can't really expect that much from a sequel to be honest. It's definitely watchable. Very dated but that doesn't matter if you're aware and bare in mind what year this film was released (1989). I can think of ways this film could be modernised if any director wanted to do both Fly films within the next decade. Yep, it has a futuristic theme literally following on from the sotry from the previous 'The Fly' film. Not much I can say about this really. It's average, worth watching if youv'e seen the the Fly in any case. It's pretty stomach churning in parts so, anyone with weak stomachs might want to give this a miss.
That's all that needs to be said!
