Most helpful review
not my cup of tea.........
By williamsgwynfa (627 reviews) from gwaenysgor , 17 Jan 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
I hadn't heard of the book before the movie, and my first impression was that it had something to do with footballers. this film gives you an insight into the world of football hooliganism. It basically follows a 30 year old Chelsea fan and his mates who seem to be looking for a fight at every football match they go to.
not really my taste in film at all.- Was this review helpful to you?

The Life Of A Hooligan
By danshuks (8 reviews) , 30 Mar 2013ive heard alot about this movie and finally ive seen it..... i came to one conclusion...... football hooligans ruin football and are a waste of space...... decent movie but not the best at all... worth a watch but gives a great insight into what these hooligans do with their lives........ funnily enough... it isnt really about football just about chavs beating each other up to see who is the toughest.... everyone will have a different opinion... some people will like it some people wont... i gave it 3. 5 stars- Was this review helpful to you?

By jonesy28 (12 reviews) , 29 Mar 2013nobody likes danny dyer he is one of the worst actors ever however, there are some decent actors in this film and it's a typical hooligan based film green streets is far better but this film still worth a watch- Was this review helpful to you?

Read the book instead
By a customer , 19 Mar 2013Having read the book a few years ago, I was interested to see the film version. However, it was disappointing. Whereas the book brings the characters to life, the film failed to do so. As such I was unable to empathise with any of the characters (except perhaps Bill and his friend) and therefore didn't really care what happened to them. Shallow and flimsy film making.- Was this review helpful to you?
