[Highly rated reviewer]This is a very wonderful film. It desplay's how each person can live with different fears, and how those fears can propel us to become even more than we ever thought we could be.
It shows us how the bound of friendship, is indeed something worth dying for. And helps us believe that we can all believe in each other.
I had to watch it twice, just to give the film the respect it deserved.

The Four Feathers Reviews 2002By ian3 (538 reviews) from Salisbury , 02 Dec 2010The Four Feathers 2002 - the newest re-make of the classic, just ask good, they have not changed the story or ending, but what makes this the better of all is the late great Heath Ledger plays the hero. One not to be missed ..
Trying to be an Epic but sadly it is not...By Harveytwo (54 reviews) from Nottingham , 19 Oct 2009Like all Kapoor's films, you hear him talk about philosophy and spirituality and then when you see his films they always fall short of his hype.
This is an attempt to re-package Lawrence of Arabia - but this has by no means anywhere near that quality, depth or character.
The filmmakers have brought nothing new to the table, essentially just saying that you have to travel to the far reaches to discover yourself - big deal!
Heath Ledger is great and Wes Bentley complements him with a solid supporting performance. Sadly they have not been given the right script and the Director has let them down. The main problem lies in the very problematic journey that Harry goes on to find his friends. The motivations within this quest are very questionable and you have to beg the question: 'why the hell didn't he just rejoin the army instead of taking the hard/random/suicidal route?'
The white feather idea seems unnecessary seeing as all Harry needed was the disapproval of his piers to change his view on going to war. The returning of the white feathers was supposed to be highly symbolic and profound but the director white washes over these exchanges highlighting how contrived the idea was in the first place.
Somewhere in this was a good film that could have done wonders with its gifted cast but this fails to be anything but an average dramatic piece.
Four FeathersBy mumrar (15 reviews) from Birmingham , 01 Apr 2009I found the film to slow in places and very action packed in other areas. I really enjoyed watching and the story keep me locked to the tv screen.
Four FeathersBy Nachooooo (148 reviews) from Liphook , 24 Mar 2009Really good adaptation. Great sense of the time and environment and the harshness of the campaign in Sudan. Very well acted.
ExcellentBy a customer from England , 06 Mar 2009Not my usual cup of tea but i ended up really enjoying it. Many people on IMDB agree this is a very under-rated movie.
The cast are excellent especially Heath Ledger who gives us one of the best performances of his short career. The real pull for me was Kate Hudson who dissapointly only had about 30 minutes worth of screen time in a film lasting 120 minutes.
Great acting,scenes,story - definately worth a watch.
