Another brilliant Korean war film. I've become a huge fan of these films, and in Bluray, these are films are brilliant.

Action sequences top notch, and with a good story.

On a par with the best I've ever seen. This is a haunting yet humorous film, thanks to a poignant script and impressive acting along with brutal war scenes. Band of brothers in Korea as someone else said. I watched it a full week ago and still recall parts. Brilliant. Tragic.

High production values, a well thought out script with lots of history and insight into the relationship between North and South Korean soldiers during the Korean war as well as the political issues affecting both sides. If you have enjoyed movies like Brotherhood or Joint Security Area, this one should definitely be on your list.

A good war film about a subject little touched on by Western Cinema - The Korean War. Performances are solid and the subtitles have been largely well translated. An excellent companion film to this is '71-Into The Fire' Recommended.

An excellent movie that I found to be superior to most Western cinema War films, great plot, acting and realism.

It's set near the end of the Korean War, where an Officer is sent to the Frontline to investigate rumours of a mole in a company.

He instead finds a friend he thought had died in the war, and how he's no longer the man he once knew.

The company are constantly fighting the enemy over a hill, an important strategic point that changes hands almost daily.

Truce talks are constantly going on between the 2 armies higher ranks during this, with this one hill the last detail needing to be settled before the truce can be finalised.

In this you see the futility of war, with the Hill changing hands and the loss of men involved over it. As well as how the war itself changes people, to the point you're no longer the same person.

    **Slight Spoiler**

One scene really affected me when a little girl asked if her arm would grow back when she grew up.

It was just cruel and heart wrenching seeing a soldier bluntly tell her it wouldn't and her reaction to it.

I was impressed with the quality and SFX of the film. Definitely Hollywood standard.

    Good story and moving.

    Definitely worth watching.
