If Harrison Ford owned...

If Harrison Ford owned this film, he wouldn't waste his time looking for the one-armed man as he would be glued to the screen! Absolutely first-class performances from mssrs Ford & Lee-Jones. Even though you know how it ends (well, most do,) you remain fixed with the story throughout. A definate must for any film lovers collection!- Was this review helpful to you?

He handles the simple plot with aplomb but economically. You are never left sitting back off the edge of your seat from opening frames to close. Add gargantuan performances from Tommy Lee-Jones and Harrison Ford and this is the ultimate action thriller, which I've not seen bettered (although The International comes close).- Was this review helpful to you?

One of the classic suspense thrillers, and a must see if you are a fan of Harrison Ford. Tommy Lee Jones is also a great addition to this film. Although looking a bit dated the film lacks nothing in providing the 'What's going to happen next??' feeling.- Was this review helpful to you?

Watchable but not great.
By Ferry41 (222 reviews) from Oxford , 05 Sep 2011Harrison Ford is on the run in this watchable but not outstanding cop hunts (good) fugitive with Tommy Lee Jones putting in a good perfomance as the tough as steel US marshall. Further the film suffers from a fairly implausible script. How does Harrison Ford manage to survive during his life on the run, including buying different wardrobes and renting rooms in the absence of any form of income? Anyway if you ignore the detail there is lots of watchable action etc....- Was this review helpful to you?
