As usual, a weak storyline, but unforgettable dancing, I would like to have see more dancing and less story!
This is not the best of Fred and Ginger's films. Yes the plot is thin and full of stereotypes - the poor man playing the corespondent is over the top. But we watch these films for the dancing and I have to say I felt that The Continental went on and on and on. Spectacular though it was I'd have preferred a change of tune.
