Fun Vintage Sitcom
A brilliant sitcom that centres around Colonel Maynard's chauffer & his constant battle with new housekeeper Gabrielle Dragon. Whilst the situations & plots may feel slightly formulaic & familiar to modern audiences the excellent cast hold things together & provide a barrel full of laughs; Sid James is the roguish chauffer George, Peggy Mount is stern Gabrielle Dragon a fitting counterpoint to Sid, Keith Marsh is the scruffy gardener Ralph & John Le Mesurier rounds things off as the absent minded Colonel. All fans of vintage British comedy will find something to laugh about in this forgotten gem.
