[Highly rated reviewer]If you have already read the book and expect an accurate reflection of what you have read you will not be disappointed as you so often are when a book is turned into a film. While the film cannot go into every intricacy of plot, it very successfully conjures up the atmosphere of the novel and Noomi Rapache is cast brilliantly and so credibly as Lisbeth Salander. I have heard Lisbeth compared to Lara Croft but with Lisbeth I did not need to suspend belief. This film rather has a gritty realism. Though it may be a long film, I didn't move from my chair. A 'must see', I would say!

Excellent sequel.By Kowalski (41 reviews) , 11 Jan 2013I can't think of a bad thing to say about this film. I was half-expecting a disappointment after 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' having been so good. This is, if anything, better. Murders, intriguiging plot, boxing, motorbikes, car chases... what's not to like?

Another great rendition by Noomi RapaceBy JulieRNorthumberland (35 reviews) , 11 Jan 2013Noomi Rapace is totally right for the part. This was the weakest of the 3 novels but I still enjoyed the film, in this case even better than the book. I read the books first and was reticent about seeing the films but I'm pleased I did because Noomi's portrayal is spot on.
Worth watching but the books are betterBy a customer , 05 Jan 2013After watching the first instalment of this trilogy, I went on to read all three of the books which were thrilling to read, somehow the films don't quite capture the full story as there are parts and details missing which feature in the original text. However, I did still enjoy watching this, it followed on well from the first film and it's only just that I watch the final film to conclude. Worth watching but highly recommend reading the books.

THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS Show review anywayHideI was very disappointed as the dubbing was way out of sync read the books and they were brilliant pity the films have not come up to the same standard.
Very good, well told & engaging...By SiSlayRD500 (165 reviews) from Solihull , 01 Jan 2013This was very good, well told & engaging. Despite what some reviews say on here, I thought this WAS a good sequel. As with the first part of the trilogy, the story unfolds nicely and you find out more of past events etc. For me this was a well done film in many ways; if you enjoyed The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo I'd be surprised if you don't like and enjoy this.
