Showbiz pals of Columbo star Peter Falk are backing his wife's fight for the right to care for the actor as he battles Alzheimer's disease. A 51-year-old man has been arrested by the FBI for allegedly distributing preview tapes of Oscar nominated films over the internet. Hundreds of tapes, meant to be seen only by Oscar voters, were discovered at the home of Russell Sprague at his home in Illinois on Thursday. Mr Sprague is due to appear in a Chicago court on Friday to face criminal copyright infringement charges.
